Overview

Turn operational questions into source-backed answers and controlled next actions. We connect the interface, data and business rules behind the task, then verify the complete workflow.

Process

Three steps.

01

Understand

Agree the task, baseline, source systems and delivery boundary.

02

Build

Develop and review the code, configuration and integrations in scope.

03

Verify

Test representative cases, compare with the baseline and hand over.

Problems we solve

Recognise the challenge?

Start with the problem you see. Explore what we can change, then open the implementation notes for the detail.

01Explain an order delay from the actual records

What you may be seeing

  • Staff switch between order, warehouse and delivery tools to find an answer.
  • A delayed order has a status but no clear owner or next step.
  • People repeat the same process questions in internal messages.
What we build or change

We build an assistant that looks up authorised order events, stock allocation and delivery updates, then explains the recorded blocker with source references. Approved process guidance supplies the next step and responsible role. The assistant distinguishes a documented cause from an unknown cause and can prepare an update for staff review.

How we verify the work

  1. Map the question to authorised operational APIs (controlled connections between applications) and maintained process documents.
  2. Calculate dates, quantities and status transitions in application code.
  3. Evaluate missing records, conflicting updates and role-based access.
  4. Require confirmation for scoped record changes and retain an action history.
02Process knowledge available where work happens

What you may be seeing

  • Procedures are spread across documents and team knowledge.
  • New staff cannot tell which guidance is current.
  • An answer exposes information the employee should not see.
What we build or change

We connect maintained policies and process documents to retrieval-augmented generation: finding relevant evidence before an AI writes an answer. We enforce access in the application and retrieval layer, retain document versions and route unsupported questions to the process owner.

How we verify the work

  1. Assign owners and refresh rules for the knowledge sources.
  2. Test answer accuracy, source quality and permissions with representative staff questions.
  3. Automate document refresh and route unanswered questions for review.
AI & automation in the work

Give your team an informed answer.

Staff can ask about an order, policy or process in plain language. We connect the question to records they may access, show what supports the answer and prepare a reviewed next action.

Engineering terms, explained
Grounded AI / RAG
An assistant retrieves relevant approved evidence before generating an answer. Access controls and evaluations still need to be engineered and tested.
Idempotency
Retrying the same operation does not create an extra order, payment or record.
Controlled experiment
A concurrent comparison of assigned variants, with a defined outcome, observation window and decision rule.
Core Web Vitals
Measures of main-content loading, responsiveness to interaction and visual stability.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Does an internal order-status assistant fit this service?

Yes. Staff self-service is part of workflow improvement. We connect the records behind the process so the assistant can explain supported facts, identify the next owner and prepare an appropriate action.

Can the assistant change records automatically?

Only within the actions you approve. Sensitive changes can require human confirmation. Permissions and business rules are enforced by the application, with records of what was requested and completed.

What if the answer is missing or a system is unavailable?

The assistant should say what it cannot verify. We design fallback states and a human handover that carries the useful context without presenting an unconfirmed action as complete.

A stock hold is blocking dispatch.

The order is paid, but one item is awaiting allocation. The warehouse record shows a stock hold at 09:20. There is no confirmed dispatch time yet.
